Shandong Luli Steel Co. Ltd, founded in 1993, is a holding company of Luli Group. It is a joint steel manufacturer which is combined with sintering, iron smelting, steel-making and rolled products. Located in Hou town, Shouguang city, Shandong province, it is 20km from Yangkou port to the north, 15km from Weifang port from east and 2km from Rongwu high-speed road junctions. It boards convenient transportation. The company has more than 6000 employees now. On the year 2011, it is determined as the key support and development steel enterprise in Shandong province by the government.
The company owns production licenses of deformed bar and pipe billet. It passed the ISO9000 international quality system authentication, and set up perfect marketing system and customer service network. The leading products include 10mm-40mm rebar, 16mm-180mm carbon steel, alloy steel, bearing steel, 50mm-260mm tube billet, 150mm-220mm square billet, 200 and 300 series stainless steel, various varieties of alloy ingot, etc, among which the tube billet of "LuLi" brand was identified as "famous brand" products in Shandong province. The products exported to Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia, and have a good reputation.
The company has consistently adhered to a developing policy of high-starting point and high-input, and efforts to develop the synchronization of social, economic and environment benefits. At present, sintering, iron smelting, steel-making and rolled products, all the economic technology indexes meet the domestic advanced level. The "CDM" project which cooperative development by Luli and Sweden Carbon Resources Management Limited companies was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission on Oct. 2008, and passed inspection and acceptance by the DOE United Nations. It is registered successfully on Nov. 2010 in the United Nations. This project will reduce carbon monoxide emissions about 2.55 million tons, saving standard fuel 220 thousand tons every year and get free capital of 5.22 million euros.
